Limited Stay Permit VISA for Education (C316)

Limited Stay Visa not for work is given to foreigners who will attend education at educational institutions or institutions in Indonesia. Holders of this visa are not allowed to work in Indonesia. The period of stay in Indonesia is given for 6 (six) months/180 days, 1 (one) year, and 2 (two) years.

The residence permit derived from this visa can be extended.

Requirment

• Guarantee letter from the guarantor who is an Indonesian citizen or the institution/corporation where the Foreigner carries out education;

• Valid and Valid Nationality Passport:

  • a minimum of 12 (twelve) months for those who will stay in the Indonesian Territory for a maximum period of 180 (one hundred and eighty) days;

  • a minimum of 18 (eighteen) months for those who will stay in the Indonesian Territory for a maximum of 1 (one) year; or

  • a minimum of 30 (thirty) months for those who will stay in the Indonesian Territory for a maximum of 2 (two) years.

• proof of having the cost of living for himself and/or his family while in the Indonesian Territory of at least US$2000 (two thousand US dollars) or equivalent;

• ecent color photographs with a size of 4 cm x 6 cm (four centimeters by six centimeters) with a white background as many as 2 (two) pieces;

• a letter of recommendation to study from a government agency that carries out affairs in the field of education or religion.

• if the guarantor is an institution or corporation where the Foreigner carries out education, then the study recommendation letter can be replaced with a certificate or statement received at the institution or corporation.
